As we prepare to launch Pocketed in the United States, we want our U.S. users to fully understand the American grant landscape. And this means understanding that there are two categories of grants; governmental and non-governmental! Oftentimes, non-governmental grants are open to a wider range of people and businesses, so you might be eligible for some of these!

Both non-governmental and governmental grants are easily accessible through the Pocketed platform, so you don’t have to worry about missing anything, but the difference between the two is that governmental programs are funded by the government vs. non-governmental programs which are funded by private organizations.
